Whilst the art of writing is best learnt through practice, it always pays to get advice from more experienced writers on the craft. Last Friday was my birthday (hooray for being 23!), and my parents got me a book I’ve had my eye on in Waterstones for some time: 642 Things To Write by the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto. This book is full of fun writing prompts with space underneath to write in, so I thought it would be a useful tool for getting those creative juices flowing when I was feeling a little uninspired.
