It’s here again! It’s that time of year when writers across the world come together with a single goal in mind: to write 50,000 words in 30 days!
Yes, I question their sanity, and that’s saying something because I’m one of them! NaNoWriMo 2017 will actually be my third NaNoWriMo (not including Camp NaNoWriMo, which I did in April this year), and will hopefully be my second successful NaNoWriMo: I only managed 42,000 words in 2014, but I successfully wrote the whole 50,000 words last year.
Whilst I am currently working on a novel, I’ve decided to start something completely new for NaNoWriMo 2017, and am hoping to have completely finished the first draft by December the 1st (I’m planning to do a novella length story). My new project is going to be a Robin Hood retelling with a major twist, and I’m super excited to start work on it!
I’m hoping to keep up with my blogging as well (and for the first time in my blogging life, I actually have stuff scheduled!), but we’ll have to see how that goes! I’ll be doing my usual weekly NaNoWriMo updates to document my progress, so follow along if you’re interested.
To my fellow NaNoWriMoers, best of luck and happy writing!
