1. Ok we’re talking coffee’s – What’s your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
I don’t actually drink hot drinks. To me, drinks should be cold (and therefore refreshing), and if I’m honest, a lot of the time I just drink Diet Coke, which I know is terribly unhealthy!
2. Accessories – What do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
I have a pair of black fingerless gloves that I wear a lot in autumn and winter (yes, I sacrifice the warmth of the end of my fingers for fashion!), and I like those snood things that are big at the moment. I have a lovely tartan one I’ve been wearing a lot recently!
3. Music – What’s your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
I’m not sure if my music tastes really change that much with the seasons, but perhaps I listen to a bit more gloomy stuff when the weather gets worse? The songs I have been listening to most recently are ‘Tonight, Tonight’ by Smashing Pumpkins, ‘Someone Purer’ by the Mystery Jets and ‘Nothing Else Matters’ by Metallica, so I guess none of them are that cheerful!
4. Perfume – What’s your favourite scent for this time of year?
I own a few perfumes, but they only really come out for special occasions, so I guess I can’t really answer that one!
5. Candles – What scents will you be burning this season?
I don’t really burn candles to be honest. Seen as I’m pretty clumsy and my room is full of books and clothes (both of which are fairly flammable!) it just seems like a bit of a health and safety hazard!
6. What do you love most about Autumn?
Hmmm…I’m not sure. Autumn is a kind of in-between season. Whereas you can enjoy the hot weather in summer, and there is a possibility of some snow in winter (I love snow!), autumn is just cold (and in England, mostly rainy!). I guess I quite like the autumn leaves though! Kind of an obvious thing to pick, but they are pretty!
7. Favourite Make-up look?
I don’t really wear a massive amount of make-up to be honest, mostly because I’m terrible at applying it! You should seriously see me trying to put mascara on once I’ve taken my glasses off! So mostly it’s just a bit of concealer and foundation. I’m also that pale that I find it hard to find make-up that doesn’t make me look orange, so I’ve been using Collection 2000’s Lasting Perfection Concealer and Bourjois’s Healthy Mix Gel Foundation in the palest shades recently, and they seem to match my skin tone quite well.
8. What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
Reading more books, as per usual! And hopefully finishing my NaNoWriMo novel. Not that there’s that much left of autumn now anyway!
As per usual, I’ve no idea who has already done this tag, so if you fancy doing it, then go for it!
