Warning: Spoilers for the ‘Harry Potter’ series. This is the second post in my ‘Reading Harry Potter’ series, and this time we’re talking about Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! Check out my post on Philosopher’s Stone here if you missed it! My Thoughts Whilst Rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Dursley update… …they’re still hilariously awful! Rereading Harry Potter: ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’

Warning: Spoilers for the ‘Harry Potter’ series. So the other day I did a post about how I was going to reread the Harry Potter series for the first time in years. In that post I promised updates after reading each book, so here is the first of many! My Thoughts Whilst Rereading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone I had completely forgotten the bit before Dumbledore and co. arrive on Privet Drive! However, I was thinking recently about how I hadn’t reread anything in years, and I couldn’t even remember the last time I read a Harry Potter book. As I got older the amount of rereading I did began to decrease as I discovered new books and found myself with an… Read more »

I had a cycle of a few favourite books that I read over and over, occasionally mixing it up with a different book from the library, or adding a new favourite to the cycle. Amongst these several favourites were the Harry Potter series, various Jaqueline Wilson books, Watership Down, Black Beauty (not sure what it was with me and animal books!) and a handful of others. These days, however, I can’t actually remember the last time I reread a book. I have such an extensive list… Read more »
